Our Commitment
Every article published on Forthmatch is written to help e-commerce merchants and supply chain professionals make better decisions — not to generate traffic for its own sake. We do not publish content we are not confident in, and we do not exaggerate claims or make up statistics.
Who Writes and Reviews Our Content
Hylke Reitsma holds an MSc in Supply Chain Management from the University of Groningen and has 8+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain roles at Shell (Supply Planning Manager), Verisure (Supply Chain Manager), and Stryker (Global Supply Chain Graduate). He is the co-founder of Forthsuite.

Articles are researched using a combination of primary supply chain expertise, publicly available industry data, and practical experience from running supply chain operations at enterprise companies. We draw on firsthand knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, 3PL coordination, S&OP processes, and supplier management.
Where we reference statistics or external sources, we link to them directly. We do not cite figures we cannot verify.
AI Assistance
We use AI tools to help draft and structure articles. Every article is then reviewed by Hylke Reitsma for factual accuracy, practical relevance, and alignment with real-world supply chain practice before it is published. AI-generated content that contains errors or unsupported claims is corrected or removed during review.
We do not publish AI output that has not been reviewed by someone with relevant domain expertise.
Topic Selection
We write about topics directly relevant to our readers: Shopify merchants managing inventory, logistics, returns, and supplier relationships. We focus on practical, actionable content — not theoretical overviews. Our goal is that every article gives the reader something concrete they can act on.
We do not publish content about topics outside our area of expertise.
